On the village square, Sonnac sur l’Hers, less than an hour from Carcassonne, Toulouse 1.5hrs.

Get close to nature in this unspoilt region of Languedoc – walking, cycling, mountain biking, bird watching, and history and legend of the Cathars, all from the back door. River and lake swimming, fishing, horse riding, wine tours, art, music and markets, something for everyone in the always stunning, sometimes wild terrain of Languedoc. We offer cyclist friendly accommodation, have mountain bikes and maps to lend and can help plan routes.
